If you do something like this on your own without having a local guide to show you the best trails and ideal places to spend your nights, you could be in for a hard time. However, if you’ve got a mountain bike tour company to guide you, they’ll handle all those things. Many tour companies also have rental bikes to save you the hassle and risks of taking your own bike along on your travels.
