This week, we’re proud to showcase Zach!
This will be his 4th season leading tours with Escape Adventures. He’s extremely thoughtful, helpful, kind, and an absolute pleasure to work with.☀️
Zach loves to explore new places and things—his curiosity leading him from the depths of canyons to the inner workings of a combustion engine.
Before joining our team, Zach worked as a service manager at a bike shop in Tennessee. We are continually blown away by his mechanical skills, which extend well beyond bicycles.
Zach may be seen riding a bike, a motorcycle, a pack raft, or even a unicycle! If you`re lucky enough to have him as your guide, be sure to prepare yourself for some cheesy puns!🧀

The spotlight is on Emily this week! It will be her fifth season leading trips with us here at Escape Adventures, and we are incredibly grateful to have her!
Emily is an outdoor enthusiast in many capacities: she is an EMT, spends her winters working on Ski Patrol in Colorado, has 4 Grand Canyon rafting trips under her belt, and has completed the Tahoe Rim Trail and John Muir Trail. She’s also a certified mountain bike skills coach—so don’t be surprised if you see her flying down The Whole Enchilada in Moab on her day off.
Emily is also a talented musician 🎶 If you`re lucky, you might get to hear her strum a starlight serenade out on tour ✨

Ancient paths, towering red rock formations, and trails etched into the landscape over centuries—this is Trail of the Ancients. 🌄🚴♂️ At the end of April, we’re heading back to this remote, rugged terrain where every turn reveals a new geological wonder and a test of skill. Loose sandstone, ledgy descents, and fast, winding singletrack make for an unforgettable ride through one of the most historically rich landscapes in the Southwest. Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Carson, the new General Manager here at Escape Adventures. We have an awesome team heading into 2025, and I couldn`t be more excited to get back out there! Stay tuned—every Tuesday from now on, we’ll be featuring one of our incredible trip leaders here! 🚴♂️
A little bit about me:
I grew up in Phoenix 🌵, lived in NYC for a while, and have been roaming around for the last six years. Since 2018, I have motocamped across America, traveled around Vietnam and Laos, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, rode my bicycle across the U.S. on the Southern Tier, and guided 48 trips with Escape Adventures. Most recently, in 2023, I completed the Calendar-Year Triple Crown—hiking the Appalachian Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Pacific Crest Trail in a single year. It took me 9.5 months, 7,200 miles, and 1.3 million feet of elevation gain—an absolute adventure of a lifetime! ⛰️
It’s truly an honor to work in an industry that allows me to meet like-minded people from all over the world and share experiences in some of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Our portfolio specializes in Western North America and is rapidly growing internationally. Building on over 100 destinations, we cater to the full spectrum of active traveler, respective to fitness level and activity type.
