First bike: First real bike was a yellow 1996 Cannondale F700. 60mm of travel baby!
Why you bike: I feel biking is the perfect pace to see and experience more on any trail or road.
Worst crash: 5 years old. On a family camping trip in Wisconsin, I went OTB at full speed downhill. I landed headfirst on the asphalt (no helmet… it was the 80’s). I spent 5 days at the hospital with a fractured skull (3 inches long) and a severe concussion. Lost my vision for 2 days! It was so bad, I couldn’t finish my T-ball season.
What you drive: Ford Exploder
Won’t go on tour without: My camera and two extra pillows.

Favorite type of trail: Steep singletrack with a mix of tech and flow. Preferably high up in the mountains and in the trees..

Best Escape Memory: Definitely the monsoon sunset at North Timp Point on the Grand Canyon. I felt like I was living in someone’s screensaver.
