The time needed to go to Moab from Grand Junction is approximately two hours. To get to Moab, take Interstate 70 east from Grand Junction until you come to Highway 191. Go south on 191. Moab is about 30 miles away. When you get to Moab, Moab Cyclery will be about two miles down the road on the left-hand side.
You can also fly into Salt Lake City and drive to Moab. This drive will take about 4 1/2 hours. To get to Moab from SLC, take Interstate 15 south to Highway 6. Hwy. 6 will take you to Green River and will turn into Interstate 70. Take the 70 east to Highway 191. Go south on the 191. Moab is about 30 miles away. When you get to Moab, Moab Cyclery will be about two miles down the road on the left-hand side.
Thrifty (970.243.7556) offers one-way rentals to Moab with a $75 drop fee. You can also make reservations for the return trip.
Shuttles: The Road Runner Shuttle company based in Moab offers shuttles to Moab from Grand Junction and Salt Lake City.
In addition, a few airlines provide daily service to Moab’s Canyonlands Regional Airport from Salt Lake City and Denver.

Most of our meeting spots are at hotels that allow guests to leave their vehicle there while on tour. Alternatively, you may be able to leave your car at Moab Cyclery.
Moab has tons to offer. And you should plan on staying a few days before or after your trip. From spas to rock climbing, we recommend sampling everything Moab has to offer.
