Driving…
From Reno to the Northstar Resort in Lake Tahoe
It takes about one hour to get from Reno to Northstar Resort. If you drive to Northstar from Reno, take Interstate 80 west to Truckee. As you enter Truckee, you’ll see Highway 267. Go south on the 267 for six miles where you’ll see Northstar.
Leaving your car in Reno or Lake Tahoe
We will meet at the Village Food Company where we will situate ourselves in our rooms and have a lunch and meeting on the week’s events. For those who are driving separately, you may park and leave your car at Northstar for the duration of the trip.
Most of our meeting spots are at hotels that allow guests to leave their vehicle there while on tour. If you do not plan on being a guest at the hotel you should contact them ahead of time to find out regulations and possible fees associated with leaving your vehicle.
